It’s official! Noted is going to be merging with Seesaw magazine!
Seesaw editor Nina Levy and I have unveiled a plan to launch a fully funded, professional digital arts journalism platform in July 2019.
In November, Seesaw and Noted will merge as part of our objective to create a one-stop shop for the arts in WA and restore journalism to the arts ecosystem. Using the Seesaw website as a springboard, Nina and I will be leading a team that includes Perth’s most experienced and best-known arts writers including David Zampatti, Jan Hallam, Sandra Bowdler, Varnya Bromilow and Mark Naglazas.
What does that mean for you? All the great writing you love from Noted will be sitting alongside Seesaw’s vast arts coverage so you can find everything you need all in one location. You can subscribe to Seesaw to stay up to date with all the news from the WA arts scene. The Noted website will continue on a smaller scale as a site for my personal writing, news and information about Women of Note.
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for your support over the past 12 months. I hope you’ve enjoyed the reviews, interviews, competitions, gig guides and faetures. Please get in touch at info@seesaw.com.au if you are interested in supporting us.
Visit Seesaw and follow our journey: seesawmag.com.au
It’s your arts playground!

Sad but exciting! May the new site go from strength to strength.

Yes to both of those. The merger is very timely and has so much arts sector support already, so I’m excited for the future. It’s time to restore journalism to the arts sector!
