Noel Noel includes carols such as God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and O Little Town of Bethlehem plus instrumental celebrations like Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets. Brilliant New Zealand soprano Madison Nonoa is also featured in arias including the sumptuous Renaissance lament Con qué la lavaré and Silent Night. Artistic director Paul Dyer is both charismatic and intelligent and he knows how to make this music sound fresh and profound.
